Recently, Xinjiang Autonomous Region released the wind power operation status from January to October. In October 2019, the wind power of Xinjiang autonomous region was 400 million kwh, a decrease of 22.5% compared with the same period of last year; the wind abandonment rate was 10.2%, a decrease of 4% compared with the same period of last year. Among them, Bazhou and Changji have the best wind power consumption, with wind abandonment rate of 1% and 1.1% respectively.

From January to October 2019, the abandoned wind power in Xinjiang was 6.2 billion kwh, a year-on-year decrease of 34.9%, and the abandoned wind rate was 14.9%, a year-on-year decrease of 9%. In general, the abandoned wind rate in Altay and Changji is still high, 24.1% and 21.2% respectively. In October 2019, the utilization hours of wind power equipment in Xinjiang increased slightly year on year, the situation of wind power curtailment continued to decline, and the operation of wind power continued to improve. In terms of installed capacity, as of the end of October 2019, the installed capacity of power generation in Xinjiang grid connected operation is 90.595 million kilowatts. Among them, the installed capacity of wind power is 19251000kw, accounting for 21.3% of the total installed capacity. In terms of equipment utilization, in October 2019, the average utilization hours of all grid connected power generation equipment of Xinjiang power grid dispatching caliber were 309 hours, an increase of 45 hours on a year-on-year basis. Among them, the average utilization hours of wind power equipment is 187 hours, an increase of 29 hours on a year-on-year basis.

In October 2019, Xinjiang power grid generated 28.01 billion kilowatt hours of power according to the dispatching standard, an increase of 23.6% year on year. Among them, wind power is 3.56 billion kwh, an increase of 23.5% year-on-year, accounting for 12.7% of the total power generation. From January to October, Xinjiang power grid generated 257.36 billion kilowatt hours of total power according to the dispatching standard, an increase of 12.6% year on year. Among them, wind power is 35.34 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%, accounting for 13.7% of the total power generation. In order to further reduce the situation of wind abandonment, the development and Reform Commission of Xinjiang Autonomous Region will continue to work in accordance with the work deployment requirements of the Party committee and the people's Government of Xinjiang Autonomous Region on promoting new energy consumption, based on market development, do a good job in the overall connection of relevant policies, and continue to do a good job in the new energy consumption of Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
